किसी परिनियत विश्वविद्यालय से बैचलर ऑफ प्लानिंग / पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिप्लोमा कोर्स इन रिमोट सेन्सिंग एण्ड जी.आई.एस. (स्पेशलाईजेशन इन अर्बन एण्ड रिजनल स्टडीज) / मास्टर इन प्लानिंग / मास्टर इन टाउन प्लानिंग / मास्टर इन रिजनल प्लानिंग / मास्टर इन अर्बन प्लानिंग / मास्टर इन सिटी प्लानिंग / मास्टर इन कंट्री प्लानिंग या समकक्ष योग्यता (समकक्ष योग्यता के संदर्भ में विस्तृत विवरणी आयोग के वेबसाईट www.bpsc.bih.nic.in पर उपलब्ध है)।
Bachelor of Planning/Post Graduate Diploma Course in Remote Sensing and GIS (Specialization in Urban and Regional Studies)/Master in Planning/Master in Town Planning/Master in Regional Planning/Master in Urban Planning/ Master in City Planning/Master in Country Planning or equivalent qualification from recognized University.
